Getting in the Christmas Mood with Stockings

The holidays are upon us! A Christmas gets closer and closer I can't help but to think about my favorite things of the holiday season. Topping off the list are Christmas stockings. Some families stop doing stockings once their kids are of a certain age. This is not the case with my family. "Santa" still puts together a stocking for us every year and it is one of my favorite things to open on Christmas morning. For me the fun lies in the mystery of the stocking as one can never be sure of what will be included. Stocking items can range from jewelry to a kazoo and that childlike anticipation of de-socking the joy is one that finds me year after year.

Today I thought I would share some of my favorite stockings with you!

These eco-friendly felt stockings embrace a simplistic beauty that would look lovely hanging by the fire. Click here for more details and variety.

I love the personalized feel of these stockings by SuzyQ Quilts. They are very elegant and traditional...two qualities that make for a nice Christmas.

This stocking by beckaboo is perfectly suited for the kid in all of us. Such a happy little Christmas monster.

I love the tropical vibe (yet still somehow traditional) of these stockings by Prudence Octavia.

I still have stocking for my kids and husband. They are the "fun" items. Gum, toothbrush, silly game, cheapy gloves, etc. I even send them to my married son & daughter in law. I sometime make them stockings (when time permits)that I stuff & send. I think it is a fun tradition to keep up.
